Maria C. Morrow is from the state of Iowa and earned her B.A. in Theology at the University of Notre Dame in 2001. She earned both her M.A. in Theological Studies and her Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Dayton. Morrow is currently an independent scholar and adjunct professor at Seton Hall University. She resides in New Jersey with her husband Jeffrey L. Morrow, Ph.D., and their seven children.
